CBSE CTET 2012 for Primary/ Elementary Teachers http://ctet.nic.in/welcome.html


The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi which shall be held on 29.01.2012 (Sunday). The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET. Schools owned and managed by the State government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V: Primary Stage - Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). Minimum Qualification for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage - Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Application Fee: Cost of CTET Information Bulletin and Application Form Rs.500/- for General/OBC Candidates. Rs.250/- for SC/ST/Differently abled candidates. The fee through Credit / Debit Card, Through Demand Draft in favour of the  Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi   drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi.
How To Apply: Candidates can apply for CTET – JAN 2012 either on the prescribed Application Form or apply online upto 25.11.2011. The Application Form/Confirmation page (Computer Generated Online Application) complete in all respect should be sent by Registered/Speed Post so as to reach positively by 30.11.2011 in the CBSE office on the following address:  TE ASSISTANT SECRETARY (CTET),
